Job of the month November 2018

Re roofing with a temporary roof covering helps with efficient installation times

Our clients A North London building company that specialises in Loft conversions had awarded us the contract for the Eternit roof covering along with membranes ,lead work and termination detailing. This roof worked out at around 70 square metres and took from start to finish 6 days for a 2 man team this included the fitting of two Velux windows a twenty metre flat roof (three layer built up system and vertical slating with mitred hips to the dormer. The works were carried out under a temporary roof to keep the elements out. The slates used were Eternit which are slightly better quality than the other choices of man made fibre cement slates that are on the market. Any new roof that we install comes with a written insurance backed guarantee. The two man team included myself and I thoroughly enjoyed carrying out the project and overseeing that the finish is to the standard that my clients have come to expect. Many of my clients and business associates I have built up a long working relationship with and some in excess of twenty years so the finished product is always very important to us. Our workmanship on new roofs carry a 10 year material and labour guarantee which is insurance indemnified

Undercloacked verge is a great way to keep the roof to the property period
A lot of cutting goes into a Dormer they are a timely job
